It is not possible to represent all of the suggestions, and some relate to issues beyond the calendar, but I will send to the BFTA committee all of your comments so that they can be read and perhaps some of those ideas may be discussed at future meetings.

The next stage is to vote on your preferred structure. There are 3 options

Usual = Champs and Inters, Masters and Showdown, Euros, 8/9 GP with maybe one double header.

All double headers = Champs and Inters, Masters and Showdown, Euros, all GP are double headers.

Hybrid = Champs and Inters, Masters and Showdown, Euros, there is at least 2 double headers and some single GP.

There is a 2nd preference.
This will only be used if collective 1st choices do not produce a clear preference.
If you vote for your 1st preference again then your 2nd preference will be ignored.

In addition
Some have expressed concern that more use of double headers would mean that shooters that could not attend a weekend would not complete sufficient scores in an overall series. This can be mitigated for when the final structure is determined.

At this stage, you are not being asked how many events that you prefer. This will be asked in the next round of voting when the preferred structure is known. At that time the number of counting scores for an overall series will be included in the vote options.

We need votes!
65 responses was more than I expected. However, now that it’s a vote on preferred option, we need more.
The BFTA leans to the “status quo”, if you want them to know what you want then we need a high turnout.
Please encourage all active BFTA shooters in your club/region to cast their vote.

The BFTA meeting is on 2nd July and I would like to be able to send information to that meeting. So I will close voting options at the end of Wednesday 29th June. Please get voting
